Privacy Policy

RatedRecruiters collects structured 1–5 ratings about recruitment firms only. We do not accept written reviews, individual recruiter names, or public callouts of specific recruiters. Scores are aggregated and published only when volume thresholds are met. Ratings are candidate-submitted and may not represent every experience with a firm.

This site is informational only. It does not provide recruitment, career, HR, legal, or financial advice.

When you submit a rating, we may collect:

• The recruitment firm you select
• Industry or sector context
• State or location context
• Structured scores across our fixed recruitment process criteria (1–5 or not applicable)
• An optional email address if you choose magic-link verification (we store a hash and domain only, not your full address)
• Anti-spam and bot-protection data (for example Cloudflare Turnstile signals)
• Submission timestamps and related technical metadata needed to operate the service

If you provide an email for verification, we send a one-time magic link. We do not store your full email address in a readable form. We store a cryptographic hash and the email domain (the part after @) for abuse detection and data integrity. Email addresses are not shown publicly on RatedRecruiters.

You can verify your rating without opting into marketing. Marketing updates require a separate, optional checkbox at submission time. A rating submission alone does not subscribe you to marketing communications.

We use collected information to:

• Calculate aggregated firm-level scores and breakdowns
• Operate, secure, and improve the RatedRecruiters service
• Detect spam, abuse, and suspicious submission patterns
• Support verification workflows where applicable
